CENTRAL BROOKLYN – Over the weekend, NYPD Detective Derrick Tatum was arrested in the 70th Precinct, police confirmed. Detective Tatum, 52, was off-duty when he was arrested and charged with assault. SOUTHERN BROOKLYN – Police arrested another off-duty city employee the same day, this time an FDNY firefighter in the 68th Precinct.
