Sephora To Debut Inside Kings Plaza’s New JC Penney On Friday

MARINE PARK – New retail spaces keep opening up at the redeveloped Kings Plaza Mall. A new Sephora outpost is slated to debut inside the new 75,000-square-foot JC Penney store this Friday, August 10.

As reported last week, JC Penney will host an official ribbon cutting at Kings Plaza (5100 Kings Plaza) at 9:30am on Friday, featuring NBA Hall of Famer Walt “Clyde” Frazier as well as a performance by the Brooklynettes dance team.

Sephora will join the festivities, launching its 2,000-square-foot store-within-a-store featuring its own collection of makeup, skincare, and accessories as well as approximately 50 other popular brands.

The beauty emporium will offer the first 100 visitors gift bags filled with samples, complimentary mini makeovers at the Sephora Beauty Studio, and JCPenney gift cards worth up to $100.

A Burlington Coat Factory opened at Kings Plaza earlier this summer and Brooklyn’s highly-anticipated first Primark outpost debuted in early July. European retailer, Zara, is scheduled to open at the mall at the end of summer.
