Following Delays, Primark Scheduled To Open At Kings Plaza Mall On Saturday, July 7

MARINE PARK – After announcing in April the opening of its first Brooklyn location at Kings Plaza Mall, the Ireland-based discount fashion chain Primark encountered “technical issues” that delayed the highly anticipated grand opening.

Originally scheduled to open in May, Primark notified shoppers that it was “working with the developer and relevant authorities to ensure that we can open our doors as soon as possible.” The issues also pushed back the openings of other new Kings Plaza tenants including Burlington, J.C. Penny, and Zara.

Primark has announced that its 57,900-square-foot Brooklyn store is set to open this Saturday, July 7 at 11am.

The shop will carry a “constantly refreshed” inventory of women’s, men’s, and children’s wear as well as home goods, beauty products, and gifts. The Kings Plaza space will feature 56 fitting rooms, 42 registers, free Wi-Fi, and four cellphone recharging areas. The new Brooklyn location will be Primark’s ninth store in the U.S.

Primark opens at the Kings Plaza Shopping Center at 5100 Kings Plaza on Saturday, July 7 at 11am.
