The mother-daughter team have penned The Book Of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience (coming October 1), and will make a stop at Kings to discuss the work. In this first book that they have written together, the two share stories about women who inspire them and “who have had the courage to stand up to the status quo, ask hard questions, and get the job done.”

Some of the diverse “Gutsy Women” highlighted in the book include 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg; civil rights activist Dorothy Height; LGBT rights activist Edie Windsor; swimmer Diana Nyad; historian Mary Beard; abolitionist Harriet Tubman; Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai; authors Rachel Carson and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; and more.

Join the first woman U.S. presidential nominee, 67th Secretary of State, and former First Lady and her advocate daughter as they celebrate their bold and accomplished peers.

Tickets for Hillary and Chelsea Clinton: The Gutsy Women Tour at Kings Theatre go on sale Thursday, September 12 at 10am. Tickets include a copy of the book. Click here for tickets.

The Clintons join two other iconic women coming to Brooklyn. Oprah Winfrey announced last week that she will bring her wellness tour to Barclays Center in February 2020, and Madonna kicks off a series of shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music next week.
