Yet Another Grand Larceny In Williamsburg
Police are searching for yet another individual wanted in connection with grand larceny in Williamsburg.
The incident took place in the Rituals Cosmetics store at 143 Berry Street, around 4:27pm Tuesday, May 9, when an in unknown individual entered a restricted back room and stole a wallet belonging to a 28-year old male employee, said police. The wallet contained credit cards and $30 cash.
Photos of the individual show him in the shop, and he is described by police as a black male around 18 years old, last seen wearing a black jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants with a black stripe, and a black backpack.
The theft of wallets and credit cards from retail employees is similar to a trend of grand larcenies in the same neighborhood in Williamsburg.
