[UPDATE] What’s Open Today In & Around Park Slope

Did you work up an appetite shoveling your sidewalk this morning? Hungry for some lunch or hankering for a hot beverage?

Whether you want some food, drink, or just a new setting to combat your cabin fever, here’s a list of a few restaurants and cafés open today in and around Park Slope.

Alchemy – 56 5th Avenue (between Bergen Street & St. Marks Place) is open regular hours, so head over for some lunch, a beer, or some whiskey to warm yourself up.

Bar Toto – 411 11th Street (at 6th Avenue) is open for lunch.

Benchmark – 339A 2nd Street (at 5th Avenue) is also open for lunch from 11:30 to 3pm, but call first if you’re thinking of going here for dinner tonight.

Dizzy’s on Fifth – 230 5th Avenue (at President Street) is open for lunch though they may close early around 3 or 4:00, so call before you go.

Everyman Espresso – 162 5th Avenue (at DeGraw Street) is open until 4pm according to the café’s Facebook page.

*Faun – This Italian-American restaurant located at 606 Vanderbilt Avenue (between St. Marks Avenue & Prospect Place) in Prospect Heights will be open for dinner tonight (6 to 11pm), offering intrepid diners a complimentary hot cocktail, such as a classic hot toddy.

Four & Twenty Blackbirds – both locations are open (for pie day!) at 439 3rd Avenue in Gowanus and their newly opened Pie Counter at 634 Dean Street in Prospect Heights.

Mia’s Bakery – 139 Smith Street (between Dean & Bergen Streets) in Cobble Hill is open so long as customers continue coming in, I was informed over the telephone. Head on over for some coffee and pastries.

7th Avenue Donuts – 324 7th Avenue (between 8th & 9th Streets) is open “24 hours,” I was assured over the phone.

Uptown Roasters – 355 7th Avenue (between 10th & 11th Streets) is open today according to the coffee shop’s Facebook page.
