Tastes Of Columbia Waterfront + Southwest Brooklyn Fall Festival, Sept. 14

COLUMBIA STREET WATERFRONT – Tastes of Brooklyn—the team behind the Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Franklin Avenue, and Red Hook Food & Drink Crawls—have added a new culinary destination for local gourmands—the Columbia Street Waterfront District.

The new Tastes of Columbia Waterfront food crawl is partnering with the Carroll Gardens Association and will join the annual Southwest Brooklyn Fall Festival taking place on Saturday, September 14 (12pm to 5pm). The Fall Fest celebrates the Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, and Columbia Waterfront neighborhoods, gathering local organizations, businesses, and artists for a day of live music, family-friendly activities, and an artisan marketplace.

“Partnering with Tastes of Brooklyn to bring the first ever Tastes of Columbia Waterfront is a natural partnership with the Carroll Gardens Association’s Fall Festival,” Ben Fuller-Googins, Programming and Planning Director of the Carroll Gardens Association, said in a statement to Bklyner. “We are excited to be deepening our mission of bringing together the diverse Southwest Brooklyn community and supporting local businesses and artists.”

The Tastes of Columbia Waterfront crawl will invite ticket holders to sample fare from participating businesses along Columbia Street (from Kane to Henry) and Union Street.

Ticket prices are $22 for four tastes and $54 for 11 tastes (prices include fees). Check out the list of participating Columbia Waterfront businesses below and click here for a map.
