Prospect Park Announces That Only Portions Of Park Will Be Closed Friday

Turns out that all of Prospect Park isn’t closed on Friday after all. The park issued the following statement on Thursday afternoon:

Please note that only portions of Prospect Park will not be accessible on Friday, October 25th during the President’s visit. The closure will not affect the entire park. We apologize for the inconvenience and any confusion associated with earlier messages

We contacted the park to see which areas are going to be closed, but all they would say is “we have no other statement today.” We’ll be sure to update you if they do announce any specific closures.

Update 4:57pm: We just confirmed with Green-Wood that joggers are still welcome at the cemetery on Friday. Take advantage of it while you can!
