Police Still Seeking Two Suspects In The Shooting Death Of A College Student In July
FLATBUSH – The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two brothers in connection to the shooting death of a 20-year-old college student over the summer.
At approximately 11:30pm on Tuesday, July 11, Justin Hackley and his friend Montel Brown, 24, got into a verbal dispute with a group of men outside 533 Ocean Avenue between Church Avenue and Albemarle Road, according to the New York Daily News. Brown was stabbed in the side by one of the men in the group while Hackley was shot in the chest, neck, and head, according to police. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are seeking 28-year-old Dean Boland in connection to the incident. He is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 10″, 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black tank top, black pants, and black sneakers. Dean is believed to have stabbed Brown, a police representative says.
Police are also seeking 25-year-od Rasheed Boland. He is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 08″, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark colored pants. Investigators believe Rasheed shot Hackley, according to the police representative.
