MedRite Urgent Care Facility Opening Soon In Clinton Hill

CLINTON HILL – MedRite Urgent Care will open its first location in Brooklyn at 504 Myrtle Avenue in early 2019. The medical facility will be tailored to meet the needs of busy Brooklynites, offering evening and Sunday hours, walk-in appointments, and preventative, pediatric, and occupational medical services.

The MedRite healthcare staff will treat urgent non-life-threatening conditions including injuries (lacerations, sprained ankles, broken bones) and illnesses (flus, migraines, infections). The center will also provide various patient services including physicals, employment screenings, insurance certifications, STD testing, x-ray and lab services, and more.

“Our board-certified doctors are qualified to see patients of all ages…” reads a message posted on MedRite Brooklyn’s Facebook page on December 28, “so you can bring the whole family to the same location for care. We will be accepting patients in early 2019!”

Located on the ground floor of the new Posthouse building at 504 Myrtle Avenue, the medical center will be MedRite Urgent Care’s sixth location. The company currently has three facilities in Manhattan, one in Rockland County, and another in Miami Beach. The eight-story Myrtle Avenue building replaces the former Pratt Station U.S. post office and features 143 rental apartments, 29 of which are affordable units.

MedRite Urgent Care—Brooklyn will be open 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 9pm Saturdays and Sundays. Appointments and referrals are not required.
