BUSHWICK – A man is in the hospital after being struck by the L train this morning at the Halsey Street station.

The man fell and was struck as he was running to catch the train around 10:30 this morning, police said. Luckily, he didn’t fall onto the tracks. The victim was taken to Wyckoff Medical center and is in stable condition.

The accident led to major delays this morning following the accident, but trains are once again running as scheduled, the MTA reports.

Another person was taken to the hospital critical condition after being struck by an L train yesterday morning just one stop away. That accident occurred around 6:45 am at the Wilson Avenue station, near Trinity Cemetary.

News 12 reported on the situation, but there are no details as to whether the man fell or was pushed onto the tracks.

The two accidents on the L train come just days after a man threw himself in front of a Q train at Ocean Parkway, tragically committing suicide.
