Tastes Of Brooklyn Debuts Red Hook Food & Drink Crawl, July 28
RED HOOK – The first-ever Tastes of Brooklyn Red Hook Food & Drink Crawl will debut on Sunday, July 28, inviting locals to sample the array of culinary options the historic waterfront neighborhood has to offer.
Presented by Tastes of Brooklyn, who also hosts the annual Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill Restaurant Crawl as well as the recently launched Gowanus and Franklin Avenue Crawls, the Red Hook event brings together local culinary and artistic talents to benefit underserved kids.
Ticket-holders will be invited to stop by all the participating businesses to sample their fare. Ticket prices are $20 for four tastes and $50 for 11 tastes. Check out the list of participating Red Hook businesses below and click here for a map.

As always, proceeds from the Crawl will support Seeds in the Middle, a non-profit organization working to empower youth in central Brooklyn with the Hip2B Healthy program. The event will also support the Red Hook Art Project, a non-profit organization that provides free art and music programs as well as academic and stress management instruction to kids in Red Hook.
A youth-run Hip2B Healthy Market will offer juices and smoothies during the Red Hook Crawl, and there will be art exhibits as well as soccer and other activities for kids throughout the day. Sunny’s Bar will feature live music starting at 5pm.
Coming this fall, Tastes of Brooklyn will introduce two new neighborhood food crawls in the Columbia Street Waterfront District and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
