Bet you can guess Stephan Iacovelli’s favorite car.

Iacovelli is the owner of Fiat Café, a neighborhood Italian bistro that opened for business on Thursday, April 7.

The original Fiat Café is located on Mott Street in Manhattan, and we now have the sister café at 6th Avenue right where it kisses Flatbush Avenue.

Iacovelli treasures his 1969 Fiat — and you can certainly tell from the décor.

The bistro takes the place of Cubana Cafe, which shut down in January — although it’s fuzzy as to when or why it exactly happened.

Fiat serves up antipasto, pastas, paninis — and it’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu has lighter fare, full meals, and boasts a solid cocktail and wine list.

The restaurant is cash only.

Is Iacovelli happy to be here? “We had to open in Brooklyn,” he says.
