Daytime Mugging on 13th St and 8th Ave Sunday
A violent daytime mugging took place on 8th Avenue and 13th Street this past Sunday, January 13. According to Patch:
The 29-year-old victim told police that another woman, whom she has never met before, started a fight with her while standing on the northwest corner of Eighth Avenue and 13th Street at around 12:25 p.m. The mugger, a woman about 130 lbs., standing around 5-foot-5, and had a tattoo on her forearm spelling “Xamoura”, punched her in the face and pulled her hair. The victim fell to the ground and the crook then robbed her.
The thief, reportedly wearing a gray ski jacket and blue jeans, got away with a Gucci handbag, two dresses, and the victim’s car keys.
