Young Boy Robbed At Knife-Point On His Way To School
Police are looking for a man who robbed a 12 year-old boy on Friday, September 2, while the boy was walking to school.
The man approached the boy at around 7:30am, on Ocean Parkway, near the Belt Parkway, and asked to borrow his phone. The boy let him use the phone, but when he tried to get it back the man pulled out a knife, and told the boy he would stab him if he followed him, according to the police.
The suspect then went west down Shore Parkway. A surveillance camera photographed the suspect. He is described as a white male, about 25 to 30 years old, 5’8″, 160 pounds, according to police. He has a mustache, and was wearing a blue and white striped sweater, dark shorts over dark colored pants, and white sneakers.
