A dramatic, though short-lived, scene unfolded at the Church Avenue B/Q subway station during the rush hour commute Wednesday evening, with neighbors telling us that a man was running around the tracks and banging on subway car windows.
There's a crazy guy on the church stop @DPCornerblog he is running around, hitting the train windows!

“It was intense,” neighbor Garry wrote to us. “The trains weren’t stuck for too long, but the guy was going crazy at the station. There were tons of police there.”
#ServAdv: Following an earlier incident at Church Av, #B and #Q train service has resumed with residual delays.

According to neighbors, B and Q trains stopped at the Church Avenue station just before 7pm and were running again about 15 minutes later. The individual was apprehended, according to neighbors, though DCPI said this morning they didn’t have an arrest on file. We’ve also reached out to the 70th Precinct for more information.
Late last month, another man was apprehended at the Church Avenue station after running around on the B/Q tracks. On the morning of January 28, the NYPD said a 21-year-old on the southbound tracks was apprehended and taken to Methodist Hospital as an emotionally disturbed person.”
