Women Are The Focus Of This New Neighborhood Meetup Group
Taryn Hughes works as a mind-body therapist and and brings nearly 20 years of experience to her gender-specific work. After several years in Berlin, Germany, Hughes is bringing her practice to Ditmas Park with a new women’s group at Kettle & Thread, called Women Living Brightly.
“I wanted to share this with my neighbors and local clients. Women note how these meetings strengthen existing friendships and build a nourishing foundation for new like-minded connection to grow,” says Taryn.
She says she chose Kettle & Thread to host the group because it felt like the perfect place. “Beth has created such a warm, community feel,” says Hughes. “It feels like being in someone’s living room, and that’s the experience I want to provide.”
The group will discuss a number of different topics over the next few months, all dealing with feminine issues and development, as well as community building.
“It’s really important to me that all women feel comfortable and welcome — all ages, backgrounds and life experiences — and that everyone leave knowing themselves and each other a bit better,” says Taryn.
The first meet up is this Sunday, January 10 at 3:30pm and the topic is “Conversing with the Feminine.”
