Woman Wanted in Beating, Purse Snatching in East New York
EAST NEW YORK – Police are looking for a woman in connection with a beating and robbery outside an East New York grocery store last month.
On August 25th, around 8:00pm, a woman threw her victim to the ground outside 684 Hegeman Ave and punched her multiple times, before stealing her purse and fleeing, said police.
The 30-year old victim went to an area hospital with complaints of pain following the incident, said police.
The assailant, described by police as a black woman, last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black pants, black sandals and black hat, can be seen in surveillance footage below:
