Woman Seriously Injured in Dorchester Road Fire

A woman was seriously injured in a fire that broke out on the second floor of a townhouse at 1111 Dorchester Road, near Stratford Road, this evening, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The woman, whose name and age are unknown at this time, was taken to Kings County Hospital.

The FDNY tells us that they got a call about the fire just after 7pm, and they had it under control by 7:36pm. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Our thoughts go out to our injured neighbor. We’ll let you know as we hear any additional updates on her condition.
