Woman Robbed on Cortelyou, Man Shot on Church, and More on the Crime Map

Here’s the most recent CompStat report from the 70th Precinct, which covers the week of 5/28-6/3/12, and below are some additional crime reports from around the area:

• Police are looking for the suspect in two daylight bank robberies that both occurred on May 21 in our area, at the HSBC on Flatbush at Caton, and the Sovereign on Newkirk Plaza.

• A man grabbed the phone, wallet, and keys from a woman on Cortelyou Road near E 18th Street just before 11pm on May 29–which sounds like what a neighbor referenced in the comments of another mugging. The Brooklyn Daily reports a 19-year-old was arrested for the Cortelyou robbery.

• There was a report on SpotCrime of a man shot at Ocean and Church Aves on May 29 just before 1am.

• A neighbor asks for your help with any info about the burglary of a house on Westminster in the afternoon on Monday, June 11.
