Woman Robbed In Broad Daylight In Coney Island Apartment Building Lobby

Cops are after a man who snatched a woman’s purse in Coney Island last week.

The suspect approached his 40-year-old female victim on Sunday, November 1, at approximately 9:30am in the lobby an apartment building on West 31st Street near Surf Avenue, police said. The suspect asked the woman to open the door and then pushed her against the wall and removed her purse. The purse contained her wallet, credit cards, beauty products, iPhone, and charger.

Suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, 6 feet 1 inch, 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, baseball hat, blue jeans, and sneakers.

The victim was not injured.
