Woman Hospitalized After Being Dragged By Car During An Argument
A woman had to be taken to the hospital Friday morning after being dragged by a black sedan near Kings Highway and East 15th Street, DNAinfo reports.
The woman was reportedly in the middle of an argument with the driver when the car took off. She was still clutching the driver’s-side door and was dragged several feet before being flung to the ground, a witness told DNAinfo.
A coworker of the victim, who witnessed the incident when it occurred just before 11am, told DNAinfo the woman never got up after she slammed into the pavement. Paramedics loaded her onto a stretcher and took her to Lutheran Medical Center, according to DNAinfo. The NYPD is reportedly investigating the incident.
A similar incident occurred earlier this week on East 15th Street near Avenue P — a few blocks away from where the woman was dragged — when a driver ran over another man during an argument.
