Woman Accidentally Hits Husband With Car In Windsor Terrace
WINDSOR TERRACE – A woman accidentally struck her husband with a car last night on East 5th Street between Greenwood Avenue and Vanderbilt Street.
At approximately 9:40pm, October 31, a 41-year-old woman hit her 55-year-old husband with their 2006 Ford Escape when he exited the vehicle, a police representative tells BKLYNER. The man got out of the car and was walking southbound in the middle of East 5th Street when the woman accidentally stepped on the gas pedal, striking her husband, the police say. The woman then veered right, striking two cars parked on the street.
The man was transported to Maimonides Hospital with severe trauma to his head. He is listed in critical condition.
No arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.
