Winter Weather Ruining Morning Commute On B, Q & More
Update: B and D trains are now running into the city with residual delays.
Neighbors and the MTA have written that a combination of track conditions due to this morning’s snow and a power outage on the Manahattan Bridge are messing up travel on the B, Q, N, and R trains, as well as express buses. The MTA suggests transferring to the 2, 3, 4, or 5 at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to get into the city.
There is a Winter Storm Warning today until 7pm, as well as a Hazardous Travel Advisory, with 5-8 inches of snow expected, and all after school and PSAL programs are cancelled for today. Travel safe, and remember if needed that you can obtain a Delay Verification here.
And of course, keep in mind these rules for snow and ice removal today to avoid tickets and keep you and your neighbors safe!
