The winner of the second annual “Find Your Flavor” Coney Cones contest is 14 year-old Craig Haas Jr., and he won it with the classic summertime flavor — s’mores.
The Long Island native will make his first trip to Coney Island to make his winning gelato flavor with the world renowned Italian gelato maker, Daniele Dal Sasso of Coney Cones, on Thursday.
The contest received hundreds of entries, with flavors made from combinations of 50 different ingredients. The winner was chosen by the public — and the people chose s’mores.
Join Haas Jr. and Dal Sasso at Luna Park on Thursday at 11am, as they create the new Coney Cones flavor.
