Help Find Driver Who Hit Woman, Sent Her Flying and Kept Going

WILLIAMSBURG – Police need help finding the driver who struck a woman and left the scene yesterday afternoon.

A 25-year-old woman was crossing the street at Lee Avenue and Middleton Street at around 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th. Then, someone driving a 2007 Chrysler struck the woman. The crash sent the woman flying into the other side of the crosswalk. The driver did not slow down and kept going even after the victim was on the ground.

The woman in the video can be seen sitting up afterward as people come to check in on her. According to the NYPD, the woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition.
