Why Is Key Food Always Out Of Food?

We were so excited when Key Food (5th Avenue and 12th Street) opened in 2012, but lately it seems like they’re always out of food, which is problematic for a grocery store.

I can’t tell you how many times we’ve walked in, only to discover that four out of the six items on our shopping list are missing from the shelves. We’re not talking fancy gluten-free/organic/free-range stuff either. We just wanted a loaf of bread that didn’t feel 5 days old and some frozen waffles!

Has anyone else been frustrated by this? Are you able to successfully complete your shopping at Key Food, or do you fill up at another grocery store, and use this fancy bodega (as it is know in our house) for incidental stuff during the week?
