Where To Watch The Super Bowl In Park Slope
With the Super Bowl taking place in New Jersey this Sunday, February 2, if you’re looking for a place to watch, your best bet may be to stick close to home and avoid the tourists who’ve come to check out the madness. Thankfully, Park Slope is rich with bars and restaurants that are offering deals on drinks, some free food, and even a contest or two.
You know about some of the go-to bars for watching big games like 200 Fifth, Ocean’s 8, Old Carriage Inn, and Park Slope Ale House, which are all great options for this weekend’s Super Bowl. But if you’re looking for some others, we’ve got ’em.
We’ve rounded up a bunch of places in the neighborhood that are showing the game — some that might not have been on your Super Bowl-watching radar, some that have pretty interesting deals lined up — and we’re breaking down what they’re offering, so when it comes to game time, you’ll know where to be.
Note that some spots are already selling tickets, so if you want in, check and see if you’ll need to grab yours ahead of time.
Bark, 474 Bergen Street
For $50, it’s all-you-can-eat, a pint of beer, and 2 squares in the game pool; for $75, it’s all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink of Sixpoint, and 3 squares. Prizes include beers, Bark shirts and giftcards, and a Sixpoint brewery tour.
The Bell House, 149 7th Street
Union Hall, 702 Union Street
The sister venues are both hosting free watching parties starting at 5:30pm, featuring $4 pints of Sixpoint, Floyd beer cheese, and complimentary wings and chili at halftime.
Brooklyn Lyceum, 227 4th Avenue
They’ll have the game up on the big screen, and for a $25 entry fee, you get a bowl of house-made chili, a Lyceum Market baked good, and a drink, plus they’ll have chips, pretzels, and more to munch on.
Canal Bar, 270 3rd Avenue
Starting at 6pm, they’ll have $3 shot specials, $4 draft beers, raffles, giveaways, and to eat: complimentary build-your-own tacos.
Crab Spot, 833 Union Street
Not only do they have some large high-def TVs, but they’ll be offering $2 off house drinks, $12.99 for a dozen wings and a draft beer, plus appetizer specials all day.
Ginger’s Bar, 363 5th Avenue
There’s no cover to enjoy $3.50 half-time shot specials, guacamole, half-time munchies, plus giveaways and door prizes — while they last.
The Owl Farm, 297 9th Street

All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (limited to all beer, well mixers, and Slippery Slopes) is $75 per person, and runs from kick-off through the end of the game.
The Rock Shop, 249 4th Avenue
Whole Foods, 214 3rd Street
This may be an interesting new option for watching events — they’ve got that big space called The Roof, where they’ll be showing the game, and you can grab drinks and food.
