Bensonhurst Go Bragh! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Parades, Pubs & Irish Soda Bread
St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday, March 17, and the neighborhood is a pot o’ gold full of celebratory options! From parades, to bars, to the beloved Irish Soda Bread, you need not leave our neighborhood to take part in this joyously green celebration.

The Parade
The Annual Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on Sunday, March 20. Raffles will be drawn after the parade at a reviewing stand located on 77th Street & 3rd Avenue and there will be shamrock face painting for the children. Below is the schedule:
9:30am – Mass at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (9511 4th Avenue)
12pm – Line up on Marine Avenue and 3rd Avenue
1pm – Parade kicks off!
The Bars
On Thursday, many pubs in Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge will be hosting St. Patrick’s Day parties, serving up complimentary corn beef and cabbage, Guinness, and live music all day.
