Where To Celebrate New Year’s Around Kensington & Windsor Terrace

What are you doing for New Year’s Eve? If you’re hoping to bid adieu to 2014 around our neighborhood, we’ve rounded up some places where you can ring in 2015 in the area:
Hamilton’s (2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway)
When: Seatings from 5pm
What: In addition to their regular menu, Hamilton’s will be offering New Year’s Eve specials – and to accompany you as you munch on dishes like steamed mussels, free range chicken pot pie, and flourless chocolate cake, there will be DJ Big Sugar from the Boogie Rock Boys playing contemporary and old school funk, soul, and hip-hop from 9pm-2am.

Church Café Wine Bar (416 Church Avenue)
When: 4pm until the party’s over!
What: The bar will introduce its cocktail menu on New Year’s Eve.
Price: Varies depending on the item.
Reservations: Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also make reservations by calling 718-435-2574.
Le Paddock (1235 Prospect Avenue)
When: Dinner a la carte from 5-7:30pm, pre-fixe dinner 7:45pm on.
What: An a la carte menu that includes such dishes as chestnut soup, beef bourguignon, vegetarian risotto and a pre-fix dinner that includes such dishes as a half dozen oysters, filet mignon, monkfish, lamb shank, chocolate fondant, and more. Price: $50 for the prix-fixe menu; prices vary for the a la carte options.

Visions Cocktail Lounge (725 Coney Island Avenue)
When: Beginning at 10pm
What: DJ Ray Suave will be playing throughout the night – plus there will be drink specials, a champagne toast at midnight, and the kitchen will be open.
Price: No cover charge.
Reservations: Don’t need ’em!
Prospect Park’s Grand Army Plaza
When: 11pm-12am
What: The annual New Year’s festivities at Prospect Park kick off with live entertainment and hot chocolate, followed by fireworks at Grand Army Plaza. The best locations for viewing the fireworks include Grand Army Plaza, inside the Park on the West Drive and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.
Price: Free
Reservations: Don’t need ’em!
Lea (1022 Cortelyou Road)
When: 7pm and 9:30pm for dinner; 11:30pm for those of you who want to don some neon and dance your heart out at an 80s party.
What: A five-course meal that includes such dishes as a salami plate, wild fish tartar, tortellini di zucca, cotechnino sausage and lentils, and braised winter vegetables. Vegetarian options will be available for each course. You can see the full menu here.
Price: $70 for the 7pm seating and $90 for the 9:30pm seating.

The Farm on Adderley (1108 Cortelyou Road)
When: Early seatings are 6:30 and 6:45 for tables and 7:15 for the bar; late seatings are 9:30 and 9:45 for tables and 10:15 for the bar.
What: A five-course meal that includes such dishes as King oyster mushroom crostino, sunchoke agnolotti, seared octopus, roasted pork loin, steal cut coats, and chocolate-peanut butter gianduja. See the full menu here.
Price: $65 per person for early seatings and $95 per person for late seatings (which includes champagne toast at midnight and live music).

When: Seatings at 7 and 9:30pm.
What: A 10-course meal with prosecco toasts and more.
Price: $55 per person for the 7pm seating, $75 per person for the 9:30pm seating.

When: All night!
What: Live music and DJs to help you usher in the new year on the dance floor.
Price: Depends on just how much bourbon you’re planning on drinking.
