What Would You Like To See In The Former Zito’s Space On 7th Avenue?
Former Zito's Space at 300 7th Avenue

It’s been about four months since the first Zito’s space at 300 7th Avenue, between 7th and 8th Streets, closed, and while we’re glad we’ve still got the 5th Avenue spot (and a big congrats to them on their new Bay Ridge location, which opened last night!), the space on 7th Avenue is just sitting empty, and we’re wondering what you’d like to see open there.

Zito’s owners Marcello Bucca and Enzo Conigliaro recently told the Brooklyn Paper that they left the 7th Ave space when “the rent skyrocketed by $10,000,” though we weren’t able turn up any real estate listings for it — has anyone noticed if the owners of the building are actively trying to fill it? If so, do you know how potential businesses can contact them?

Until something gets moving there, we’re going to do a little daydreaming. Close to Methodist Hospital and John Jay, and a block and a half from an F/G subway stop, it’s a pretty convenient and busy location. What do you think could work there?
