The biggest street fair in New York City, the 39th annual Atlantic Antic is taking place this Sunday, September 29 from 12-6pm. It runs rain or shine along Atlantic Avenue from 4th Avenue to Hicks Street. Expect live music, stuff for the kids, and more than 500 booths to check out for shopping and eating.

Here are some things to look out for:

• The New York Transit Museum lets you check out some vintage buses for free on Boerum Place between Atlantic and State Streets from 11am-5pm, and then head to the museum a block away where admission is just $1 until 4:30pm.

• Get fitted for a free bike helmet on Atlantic between 4th and Bond thanks to the Department of Transportation, 12-4pm while supplies last.

The Brazen Head (228 Atlantic Ave) is featuring $5 pints of local brews in an outdoor beer garden, with live music from The Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band.

• Outgoing Borough President Marty Markowitz will be crowned the King of Brooklyn at 2pm on the Amer-Aba stage located between Clinton and Court Streets.

• After you’ve checked out the bands playing all afternoon, check out the Atlantic Antic After Party at Last Exit (136 Atlantic Ave) with DJ Mr Lee and Friends starting at 6pm.
