What Should Fill the Former 718 Cyclery Space?
When 718 Cyclery announced they’d be moving to Gowanus because they’d outgrown their South Slope storefront, well, we can’t say we blamed them, but we were certainly sad to see them go.
About a year later, though, the space at 461 7th Avenue remains empty, and we’re curious what neighbors would like to see in there.
The owner (who can be reached at 917-496-7516) notes that what you see is what you get – there’s no basement of backyard, for instance. Also, they are not looking for a food business to take over the lease. Is that limiting, or do you have some ideas for stores that could move in?
