Outdoor dining, shopping bargains and more are coming to Church Avenue this Friday, April 3, when the Church Avenue Business Improvement District [BID] kicks off its “Sidewalk Sales and Dining Days” event that will run through Sunday, April 5.

Beginning at 10am Friday, shops and eateries along Church Avenue, from Coney Island Avenue to Flatbush Avenue, will be offering a whole lot of savings, from deals on Easter basket fillers at Gifts on Parade (1814 Church Avenue) to sales on spring clothes, electronics, home wares, and more. You can see the complete directory of the BID’s participating businesses here.

Plus, from Friday through Sunday, restaurants up and down the avenue will offer outdoor dining and/or in-house specials, including: Am Thai, Lark, Hunger Pang, El Acuario, Anarkali, Golden Krust, Mallenche Mexican Grill, Shayna’s Restaurant, and the Dunkin Donuts at E. 17th Street.

Each day’s festivities will run from 10am-6pm.

In addition to all the shopping and dining, the BID announced that all neighbors are invited to a free Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Corner (69 Stratford Road, by Church Avenue) on Saturday, April 4 from 2pm to 6pm.
