Music In The Grove: Free Kids Concert
When: Wednesday, August 5, 10-11am
Where: Fort Greene Park, DeKalb Avenue and Washington Park
What: Enjoy a free family concert by Hopalong Andrew.

KIDtivity Wednesdays
When: Wednesday, August 5, 11am-4pm
Where: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park
What: Start KIDtivity Wednesday with a fitness class wit PopFit Kids, then stick around for a puppet show by Puppetsburg at 1pm. KIDtivity Wednesday will close out with a cooking class by Creative Kitchen at 4pm for kids, ages 2-5. All classes are free and reservations can be made online.

A Summer Movie Under The Stars

Brooklyn Summer Shakespeare-ience: The Taming Of The Shrew

What: Watch a free community performance of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew presented by Brooklyn teens.

62nd Precinct: Night Out Against Crime
When: Tuesday, August 4, 5-8pm
Where: Bay 22nd Street between Bath Avenue and Benson Avenue, Bensonhurst
What: Get to know your local officers and meet the new commanding officer during National Night Out Against Crime. The street will be shut down and there will rides, giveaways, music, and food.

When: Wednesday, August 5, 4-5pm
Where: Sheepshead Bay Library, 2636 East 14th Street
What: Kids create their own masterpieces at this weekly arts and crafts program.

Meet A Local Hero
