The B Runs Local, The Q Runs Express & More Subway Changes To Look Out For This Week
Not much of a surprise on the subway front this week: the Brighton Beach-bound B will be running local and the Astoria-bound Q will be running express Wednesday through Friday. Details via the MTA:
Starting Wednesday:
Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until November 21
Ditmars Boulevard-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until November 21
Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road, and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue, or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
Remember, unscheduled changes can occur, so be sure to check the MTA’s website before heading out.
