We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in and around Sheepshead Bay this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

1855 E 12th Street #LB
List Price: $150,000, $343 maintenance
Size: Studio, one bathroom
Details: This first floor unit is easily accessible, and includes lovely floors as well as an updated bath. The kitchen could use a cosmetic update, but we can’t say we’d expect much else for this price and location (near Kings Highway amenities, the B/Q, and Kelly Park) — plus the building offers laundry, parking, and a pool.
Open House: Sunday, March 15, 1-3pm

2195 E 22nd Street #1K
List Price: $269,000, $592 maintenance
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: This unit also has a first floor address, though the listing assures potential buyers that it’s far above street level. Its 1,100 sq ft include a windowed kitchen and bath, sizable bedrooms (at least one with multiple exposures), and an elegant and flexible living/dining area. Like the above place, a kitchen makeover might be in order here — but also like the above place, a great location (near the Q, Galapo Park, and Avenue U amenities) makes undertaking renovations so worth it.
Open House: Sunday, March 15, 12-2pm

1417 Oriental Boulevard
List Price: $899,000
Size: Five bedrooms, two bathrooms, split over two units
Details: This home has a swell mix of original 1930s charm (i.e. parquet floors and a wood burning fireplace) and modern updates (i.e. modern bathrooms and recessed lighting) — and as they’re split over two units, the next owner could take advantage of a little rental income to help offset that mortgage. Outside, there’s a yard, a garage, and Manhattan Beach Park/the ocean right across the way.
Open House: Sunday, March 15, 1-3pm

2406 McDonald Avenue
List Price: $949,000
Size: Seven bedrooms, four bathrooms
Details: A combination of wall color, photo filter — and more importantly, light streaming in through the windows — make this place look so warm and cozy! We could just curl up on that couch in photo #7 and get to napping, or go cook something up in that nice open kitchen, or read a book in one of those nice spacious living rooms, or… well, we’d just sort of like to get in there and enjoy it one way or another. In terms of location, it’s right between N and F trains, as well as near good things on McDonald and Avenue U.
Open House: Sunday, March 15, 12-3pm
