This Weekend’s Park Slope Open House Picks

We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting Park Slope open house listings for this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

647 Warren Street
List Price: $2,600,000
Size: Five bedrooms, three bathrooms
Details: This three-story brick townhouse is currently set up as a three-family home, with a kitchen and full-bath on each floor, though you could always change that up. There are some other things you may end up wanting to change, as well — there are a few dated details, like that wood-paneled room. But there are also some bits of the original detail to savor, including mantels and mouldings. Just off 5th Avenue and all its restuarnts and shopping, and a quick walk to the subway hub at Atlantic/Barclays.
Open House: Sunday, June 21, 12-1:30pm

675 Sackett Street, #105
List Price: $1,600,000, common charges $941
Size: Two bedrooms, three bathrooms
Details: If the idea of a whole townhouse isn’t your ideal, but you still need a ton of space, this duplex condo might be a good fit. Built in 2014, and located just off 4th Avenue, it’s got a bunch of the expected modern conveniences, like central air and a washer/dryer in the unit. It’s a legal two-bedroom, though it’s currently being used as a three-bedroom — and if you’re looking for even more space, there’s a nice private patio. There’s laundry in the building, and pets are allowed.
Open House: Saturday, June 20, 1-2:30pm & Sunday, June 21, 12-1:30pm

140 8th Avenue, #3O
List Price: $969,000, maintenance $1,354
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: We love the outside of this Art Deco co-op, which is close to the park and Grand Army Plaza, and so it’s not a surprise to see the inside is lovely, as well, with arched doorways and parquet flooring in parts. The kitchen was recently updated and has a dishwasher and room enough for a small table.
Open House: Sunday, June 21, 1:30-3pm

176 Sterling Place, #3L
List Price: $745,000, maintenance $628
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: Another two-bed co-op close to Grand Army Plaza, this one is just off Flatbush Avenue, and it appears to be a bit smaller than the one above — and it could probably use a few updates in the kitchen. A couple of cool bonuses, though: the basement has free laundry, and the building has solar panels installed, which will cut down on your utility bills. It’s also got a shared roof deck, which is currently undergoing renovations.
Open House: Sunday, June 21, 12
