We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in and around Ditmas Park this Sunday. Any thoughts on these places?

390 Rugby Road #3C
List Price: $225,000, $430 maintenance
Size: Studio, one bathroom
Details: Alright, so studio life isn’t for everyone–but if you’ve been against it so far, perhaps you’ll reconsider for an L-shaped space in a great location? An alcove area offers plenty of room for a bed, dresser, and more (see what the current occupant has managed to fit in there!), so you can maintain privacy during get togethers or just keep an easier separation between sleep and all the other stuff you do around the house. That is, if you decide to spend much time in the house, since you’ll be steps from all the good stuff on Cortelyou.
Open House: Sunday, January 11, 1:30-3pm

50 Kenilworth Place #5H
List Price: $289,000, $739 maintenance
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: We’re pretty charmed by the price on this seemingly spacious, well maintained two bed by Brooklyn College–but if that’s not enough for you, rock fans may be interested to know it has some mysterious ties to punk history. Ask about the Sex Pistols connection at the open house, then come back and tell us the specifics.
Open House: Sunday, January 11, 12-2pm

370 Ocean Parkway #6H
List Price: $599,000, $1,116 maintenance
Size: Three bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: Goodness, this big and sunny three/two is dreamy. Those windows to the east and west! That balcony! That short walk to Cortelyou! That price point we more frequently see on two beds around here! Oh, and there’s parking with no wait list, too, if you’re into that. All in all, we suspect it would make a lovely home for a growing family.
Open House: Sunday, January 11, 1-3pm

2782 Bedford Avenue
List Price: $765,000
Size: Three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms
Details: Here’s another sort of real estate unicorn these days–a private home in our area for under a million. The owners of this South Midwood spot have maintained its 1930s charm (wainscoting and detailed ceilings, yes please) while updating the kitchen and bathroom, finishing the basement, and adding a new boiler and windows, making it a fabulous mix of old and new. Location-wise, it’s close to Brooklyn College and Junction area amenities, and there’s space for a garden in the back as well. Yay!
Open House: Sunday, January 11, 11:30am-1:30pm
