We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting Ditmas Park open house listings for this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

2913 Foster Avenue #4F
List Price: $135,000; maintenance: $476
Size: One bedroom, one bathroom
Details: Great apartment with an endless glut of closet space, there is also no shortage of light and air in this newly-renovated one bedroom unit. The paint color is a bit jaundice-y, which can probably be easily remedied, but the easygoing, practical floor plan makes this a great place to call home. The kitchen (all stainless steel appliances — yay!) opens up to the living room, which is perfect for entertaining, and the windowed bathroom features the original — but well-maintained — cast iron deep tub and brand new tiling. Original hardwood floors are in beautiful condition and the soaring ceilings really make this one bedroom feel vastly spacious. There is an elevator and live-in super, plus the 2 and 5 trains are right up the block. Plus: You’re a stone’s throw from high culture, as the newly renovated and busting King’s Theater is also nearby.
Open House: Sunday, October 4 from 12-1pm

221 East 18th Street #3F
List Price: $390,000; maintenance: $671
Size: One bedroom, one bathroom
Details: This spacious, pre-war has a “very desirable” layout. Upon entering, a large foyer leads to a dining area adjacent to the newly-renovated galley-style kitchen, which boasts granite counter tops, a dishwasher, stainless gas stove and ample counter space. A windowed bathroom has recently been upgraded, plus the extra-large bedroom has two exposures and two closets. There are original hardware floors throughout, as well as a built-in curio cabinet and arched doorways. This building has a live-in super, storage, bike storage, a large laundry room and a shared backyard. Located equal distance between the Church Avenue B/Q express train station and Beverly Road Q train station, and a short distance from all the shopping, eating and nightlife on Cortelyou Road. Cats only.
Open House: Sunday, October 4 from 11am to 1pm

400 East 17th Street #303
List Price: $685,000; maintenance: $996
Size: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: This is a wonderfully colorful, airy loft-like co-op in an elevator building. With a large living/dining area and ultra-modern cook’s kitchen, this corner unit with beautiful light is perfect for entertaining. It’s difficult to imagine a more attractive and comfortable layout. Both bedrooms are both more than sufficiently spacious, and the master bedroom has its own bath en-suite. Tons of closet space make for easy and convenient storage, plus this home is right around the corner from the bustling Cortelyou Road, so there are always shops, restaurants and cafés to frequent. Located two short blocks from the nearest Q train stop. Cats are welcome, but dogs are, unfortunately, not allowed. Note: There is a wait list for a $100/month parking spot in this building. Bike storage is also available.
Open House: Sunday, October 4 from 12-11:30pm
