We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting Ditmas Park open house listings for this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

1615 Avenue I Unit #111A
List Price: $172,000, $314 maintenance
Size: Studio, one bathroom
Details: You know what? The maintenance fee is $314, which is “Pi,” so obviously this place is the bees knees for a physics geek, am I right? Touted as being “as large as a one bedroom,” but because of Eintein’s Theory of Relativity and that whole space-time thing, this studio has “extraordinary” closet space, for a studio. Seriously, go look at the photos: The room is massive, like black hole massive, and with one of those room divider screens, it can easily be converted into a one-bedroom. There are lovely hardwood floors throughout, as well as a windowed kitchen and bathroom. This is a doorman building, with laundry facilities. Dogs less than 20 pounds are OK. The coop requires 25 percent down for purchase. Located just minutes from the Q train and Avenue J shopping (helpful tip: Ostrovitsky’s Bakery has terrific rye bread). Call or email to make an appointment.
Open House: Sunday, July 12, 12-1:15pm

41 Clarkson Avenue #E5
List Price: $550,000
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: Spacious two-bedroom condo located in the pre-war Parkside Condominiums, a stone’s throw from Prospect Park. Redesigned for modern living, the apartment of this doorman building faces the building’s private courtyard and features white oak floors throughout, as well as “well-appointed cabinetry” (that sounds very fancy), new hardware, fixtures, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Scant steps from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum and two short blocks from the Q train.
Open House: Sunday, July 12, 11:30am to 12:30pm

353 Rugby Road
List Price: $1,450,000
Size: Eight bedrooms, five bathrooms
Details: One word: Magnificent! This “absolutely grand” two-family colonial style home… is in need of renovation, but is touted as “a dynamic income-generating property.” This house is magnificent nonetheless, if one is to go by the photos in the listing. The home includes two units: a spacious and airy duplex on the first floor and a huge, two-floor, seven-bedroom home. A lot of the original detail is evident throughout the house, including the molding, hardwood floors, vaulting wood-beamed ceilings, exposed brick, and pocket doors. There is a plethora of space and natural sunlight, which adds lovely jewel tones when streaming through some of the home’s stained-glass windows. A large basement features plenty of storage space, as well as in the upstairs unit and “seemingly innumerable” closets throughout the house. A terrace on the second floor overlooks the garden (which can use a little help from someone endowed with a green thumb). Located four avenues south of Prospect Park, and two blocks from the Q train.
Open House: Sunday, July 12, 2:30-4pm

1824 East 17th Street
List Price: $1,849,000
Size: Six bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms
Details: Detached Colonial Revival, built in 1905 by Benjamin Driesler For T.B. Ackerman, this is an amazing home with wraparound porch in historic Fiske Terrace. With the original details of the interior maintained, this home has been lovingly cared for over the years, from the front perennials garden, all the way up to the state-of-the-art roof. A flexible layout provides the option of turning this home into a two-family, but works just as well as a one family. The circular formal dining room has two bay windows, and there is also an airy and spacious music room, stately living room, and “charm-filled” country kitchen. A butler’s pantry, window seats, stained glass windows and center stairs add to the home’s old world appeal, plus there is ample closet space, washer / dryer unit, an updated mechanical gas boiler, and Marvin windows. The best? There is a driveway and two-car garage, and even better: a shady rear garden with peach and apricot trees, and a strawberry patch! Just two minutes from the Q train.
Open House: Sunday, July 12, 12-2pm
