We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in and around Bensonhurst this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

1840 85th Street
List Price: $988,000
Size: Four+ bedrooms, three bathrooms, split over two units
Details: This place seems like far and away the standard house in the best condition this week (though it’s on par with the Bay Ridge Parkway multifamily below), so the price on this one seems like an extra sweet bonus. It’s totally turnkey with new mechanicals and neutral finishes, its layout offers the possibility of an extra bedroom upstairs as well as mortgage help in the form of a downstairs income unit, and it’s near transportation, restaurants, and shopping on both 86th Street and 18th Avenue.
Open House: Sunday, March 29, 2:30-4pm

2207 West Street
List Price: $1,090,000
Size: Four+ bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, split over two units
Details: This home isn’t quite as fresh and sparkly as the above listing, though the garden sounds positively gorgeous, and it’s near a few other local green spaces too. Like the place above, it’s currently set up as a two family, and is near restaurants and other amenities on McDonald Avenue and Avenue U (including the F train) as well.
Open House: Sunday, March 29, 1-3pm

1717 71st Street
List Price: $1,120,000
Size: Five bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: Again, this home doesn’t look terribly recently updated — though it is the first listing this week to feature five whole, official bedrooms, and it’s all one unit if that’s what you’re into. It’s set back a little from the main drag (hopefully that means some peace and quiet!), but is still near 18th Avenue, the D at 71st Street, and Lt. Joseph Petrosino Park — and as it’s been on the market a while, there may be some wiggle room on the price.
Open House: Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, both 1-3pm

2120 Bay Ridge Parkway
List Price: $1,498,000
Size: Six bedrooms, 3.5 baths, split over three units
Details: Two family not quite enough for you? Why not try a three? If you’ve been considering life as a live-in (or just regular old, we guess) landlord and have a budget around the $1.5M mark, you might want to consider this beauty. Its prewar details like inlaid herringbone parquet floors and picture moulding are complemented by the current owner’s thoughtful modern renovations, its backyard garage can accommodate up to three cars, and its location puts it near Seth Low Park and Playground as well as amenities on both 20th Avenue and Kings Highway.
Open House: Saturday, March 28, 11am-1pm
