Weekend Subway Closures: February 23-25

Weekend Subway Closures: February 23-25
Brooklyn Subways (Via the MTA)

Another weekend, another series of closures from the MTA. Here’s a quick rundown of the major changes that’ll affect Brooklyn this coming weekend:

  • No 2/3 trains between Manhattan and Brooklyn (Use 4/5 instead)
  • 2/3 trains won’t stop at Clark Street or Hoyt Street
  • B service ends at 9:00 pm
  • Elevator installation at 62nd Street means the transfer tunnel between the D and N trains is closed (Free transfer by exiting and reentering the station)
  • No F trains from Church Avenue to Stillwell Avenue (Use free shuttle bus replacement)
  • N trains bound for Coney Island will skip Fort Hamilton Parkway, New Utrecht Avenue, 18the Avenue, 20th Avenue/Kings Highway, Avenue U and 86th Street (Take N to Bay Parkway or Stillwell Avenue and return on a Manhattan-bound N train for access to these stations)
  • Manhattan-bound R trains will run express from 59th Street to Atlantic-Barclays, stopping only at 36th Street
  • Queens-bound J trains terminate at Broadway Junction (Shuttle buses provide continued service)

Luckily, A/C trains will be running with regular service, and in rare form for the weekend, the G train will be running without interruption!
