Weekend Stoop Sales: September 21
It’s a stoop sale bonanza in South Slope this weekend!
Where: 9th Street and Prospect Park West
When: Saturday, September 21, 10:30am – 5pm.
What: Let’s start off with a big moving sale over on 9th Street. Look for furniture (coffee table, queen bed frame, dresser), baby gear, fans and air conditioners, Wii and Xbox 360 packages, games, books, and more.
Where: 10th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 21, 10:00am – 1pm
What: Looks like we’ve got another big selection for kids over on 10th Street, with boys clothes, shoes and pajamas (up to size 4T), toys, and baby gear (including an arms reach co-sleeper, mamaroo, and Mia Bossi Diaper bag in Black Cherry). Also keep an eye out for books, women’s clothing, shoes and accessories, beauty products, DVDs, CDs, household items, and XBOX 360 games.
Where: 16th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 21, 10:00am – 3pm
What: It’s a great weekend for furniture, too. Look for 2 Ikea desks and a chair, a women’s/unisex diamondback bike, kitchenware, clothes, shoes, games, and more over on 16th Street.
Where: 205 24th St, between 3th and 4th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 21, 11am – 5pm
What: Come on down to 24th Street. Multiple person sale. Lots of women’s clothing, books, yarn, craft, weird halloween type stuff, household items, and more. Super cheap!
Where: 507 11th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 21, 10:00am – 3pm (no early birds)
What: Finally, we have the mother lode of all weekend stoop sales. Our neighbors are getting rid of 36 years worth of goodies that include such gems as The Original Lil’ Mynx adjustable and removable dance pole, a Steve Urkel doll (shown above), comic books, furniture, vintage items, clothing, golf clubs, and much much more.
