Weekend Stoop Sales: August 23-24
Looking to do a little bargain hunting this weekend? A few neighbors are hosting stoop sales, so if you’re out and about, you may want to scope out some new-to-you stuff. Here’s where you should be if you’re hoping to find a deal:
Where: 120 16th Street, between 4th & 5th Avenue
When: Saturday, August 23, 10am-2pm
What: Several families are joining forces for this one, which promises a waffle iron and other cooking stuff, a vacuum cleaner, clothing, and more.
Where: 479 Prospect Avenue, between 8th Ave & PPW
When: Saturday, August 23, starts at 11am
What: Some neighbors just moved and they’ve got too much stuff, which is to your benefit if you need things like shelves, art, rugs, cloth diapers, kids clothing, and more.
Where: 22nd Street between 5th & 6th Avenues
When: Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24, starts at 12pm
What: Lots of shelves, patio furniture, glassware, records, knickknacks, and “probably whatever plants I can part with,” the stoop sale-ing neighbor tells us.
