Weekend Service Disruptions: Try To Avoid The 3, 4, D, N, And R Lines

Below you’ll find Fort Greene and Clinton Hill subway changes over the weekend on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, C, D, G, N, Q and R lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue. Check back here Monday to see what’s happening next week.

3 Line

No 3 trains between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13.
3 train service operates between 148th Street and Utica Avenue, days and evenings. Shuttle buses run between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue, making all stops. Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Utica Avenue.
3 train Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue stations are closed for renovations.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.

4 Line

No 4 trains between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Late nights, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 11-14.
4 train service operates between Woodlawn Avenue and Utica Avenue. Shuttle buses run between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue, making all stops. Transfer between 4 trains and shuttle buses at Utica Avenue.
4 train Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue stations are closed for renovations.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.

D Line

Norwood-bound D trains run via the N from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street.
Weekend, 6:45am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13.
No Norwood-bound service at Bay 50th Street, 25th Avenue, Bay Parkway, 20th and 18th avenues, 79th Street, 71st Street, 55th Street, 50th Street, Fort Hamilton Parkway and 9th Avenue.
Travel Alternatives
For service to Bay 50th Street, 25th Avenue, Bay Parkway, 20th and 18th avenues, 79th Street, or 71st Street, take the D to New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.
For service to 55th Street, 50th Street, Fort Hamilton Parkway or 9th Avenue, take the D to 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.
For service from these stations, take the D to 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue or Stillwell Avenue and transfer to a Norwood-bound D.
Norwood-bound D trains skip 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, 4th Avenue-9th Street and Union Street.
Late nights, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 11-14.
For service to these stations, take the D to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36th Street and transfer to a Norwood-bound D.

N Line

Astoria-bound N trains run express from 59th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
Late nights, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 11-14.
Trains stop at 36th Street.
For service to 53rd and 45th streets, take the N to 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.
For service from these stations, take the N to 59th Street and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.
For service to 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, 4th Avenue-9th Street and Union Street, take the N to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36th Street and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.

R Line

Forest Hills-bound R trains run express from 59th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13.
For service to 53rd and 45th streets, take the R to 36th Street and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
For service from these stations, take the R to 59th Street and transfer to a Forest Hills-bound R.
For service to 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, 4th Avenue-9th Street and Union Street, take the R to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
For service from these stations, take the R to 36th Street and transfer to a Forest Hills-bound R.
