Weekend Service Changes To Local Lines
If you’ll be riding the F train this weekend, you’ll want to note a number of changes along the line. That and more from the MTA:
D trains make local stops at 23 St and 14 St in both directions
Weekend, 12:01am Sat to 5am Mon, Jan 11-13
Allow additional travel time.
Jamaica-bound F trains run via the E after 47-50 Sts to Roosevelt Av
Weekend, 9:45pm Fri to 5am Mon, Jan 10-13
Coney Island-bound F trains run via the A from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech
Weekend, 11:45pm Fri to 5am Mon, Jan 10-13
No Coney Island-bound F service at B’way-Lafayette St, 2 Av, Delancey St, East Broadway, and York St.
Coney Island-bound F trains skip Sutphin Blvd, Van Wyck Blvd, and 75 Av
Weekend, 11:45pm Fri to 5am Mon, Jan 10-13
G trains run every 20 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Weekends, 5am to 12 midnight, Sat and Sun, until Jan 19
The last stop for alternate trains headed toward Court Sq is Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Take a Court Sq-bound train or transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avs to continue your trip.
Coney Island-bound N trains run via the D from 36 St to Stillwell Av
Weekend, 6:45am to 7pm, Sat and Sun, Jan 11-12
Trains run express, stopping at 9 Av, 62 St-New Utrecht Av, and Bay Pkwy.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Forest Hills-bound R trains skip 36 St, Steinway St, 46 St, Northern Blvd, and 65 St
Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Jan 11-12
