New York Philharmonic Presents Concert Under The Stars
When: Friday at 6:30pm
Where: Long Meadow in Prospect Park
What: The Philharmonic will take the stage at 8pm after local musicians. Conductor Alan Gilbert will lead the NYP in performances of Beethoven’s Overture to Fidelio and Symphony No. 3, Eroica, as well as Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. You can listen to all the selections here. Afterwards, there will be fireworks!!

Where: Fort Greene Park Visitor Center
What: This fascinating walking tour will include notable residents like Walt Whitman, Little Anthony, Maritcha Lyons, as well historical landmarks like the birthplace of Michael Jordan and a former Tootsie Roll factory. This awesome tour is brought to you in partnership by MARP and the Fort Greene Park Conservancy.

Storytime With Samantha Friedman
