Parent’s Happy Hour

Where: Werkstatt, 509 Coney Island Ave
What: Parents, bring your kids to dinner between 5 pm to 7 pm, weeknights, and enjoy happy hour prices on draft beer and wine! $5 for all draft beer and yummy draft wines (white, red AND rose!). Family friendly atmosphere and menu.

What: Attend Free English Classes to improve speaking, listening, reading and writing English. Must know some basic English. For non-native speaking adults.
Ariana Jalia Book Signing
When: Sunday, December 11, 12pm-4pm
Where: Toy Max, 104 West End Ave
What: Come meet “America’s Youngest Author,” at the Manhattan Beach toy store, Toy Max. Five-year-old Ariana Jalia will be signing copies of her two books. There will be treats and a raffle for a $25 gift card to Toy Max. See you there!
Music from Good Shepard
When: Sunday, December 11, 6pm
Where: Good Shepard Church, Avenue S and Brown Street.
What: The 20th annual “Music from Good Shepherd” classical music series concludes on Sunday with a performance of Handel’s “Messiah,” featuring an orchestra, choir, and soloists. While admission is free and open to the public, donations for the performers are encouraged.
