Gallery La La’s Arts and Crafts Market
Where: 757 4th Avenue, between 25th and 26th Street
When: Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 from 11am to 7pm
What: This weekly arts and crafts market offers neighbors an opportunity to “buy your arts & crafts directly from the people who make them.” This weekend, look for some unique vintage clothing and shoes from the 90s.

South Slope Flea
Where: 4th Avenue and 20th Street
When: Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 from 9am to 6pm
What: As we mentioned earlier this week, a number of the P.S. 321 vendors have moved south and set up shop behind the Al-Noor School. If you’re searching for “vintage records, vintage jewelry, furniture, antique glass, china, and collectibles,” South Slope Flea is the place to be this weekend.

Maker’s Market at The Factory Floor
Where: Industry City, 241 37th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue
When: Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 from 10am to 6pm
What: It’s the last weekend of the furniture Maker’s Market at Industry City’s Factory Floor, located in Sunset Park. Look for work from over 40 local furniture makers and designers, DJs, food trucks, and fun activities for the kids.

Leathernecks Tattoo Halloween Benefit
Where: 667A 5th Avenue, between 19th and 20th Streets
When: Saturday, October 26, 5pm to 12am
What: It’s the third annual Leathernecks Tattoo Halloween Party. Look for raffles, giveaways, a best costume contest, snacks, drinks and more. Admission is $5 at the door, and all proceeds will go to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and the Huntington’s Disease unit at Terrence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center.

Where: Prospect Park Zoo
When: Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, 10am-5:30pm
What: Learn about bats, watch baboons smash pumpkins, take a trip through the spooky barn, join a costume parade, and enjoy face painting, craft making, and more. Must pay zoo admission, no additional cost for Halloween activities.

1st Annual Howl-O-Ween Costume Bash for Dogs
When: Sunday, October 27, 2pm to 4pm
Where: Prospect Park, South Long Meadow above the dog pond
What: Let the pups have some Halloween fun this year at Go Fetch Run’s costume bash in Prospect Park. The costume parade begins at 3pm for anyone interested in participating. Grand prize walks away with free dog training from Calm Energy Dog Training and a free month of classes from Go Fetch Run. Afterward, dogs can enjoy free treats and a go in the “down and dirty obstacle course.”
How much: Free!

First Ever Applewood Halloween Costume Contest With Cocktails (Of Course)
When: Sunday, October 27, 6pm to 10pm
Where: 501 11th Street at 7th Avenue
What: Why wait until October 31 to break out the costumes? Applewood is hosting their first Halloween bash with seasonal cocktails, such as hot mulled cider and Due North rum punch. Expect a live DJ, costume contest (“liquid prizes” will go to the best costumes) and tasty snacks.
How much: $8 per plate, $8 per drink. No reservations required.
